Last fantastic friday the whanau whakaiti done a cooking comp it was extremely cool. The classes were Rm 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. My class made an apple crumble and pancakes squirted over with lemons and maple syrup and crackers with mince on top YUMMM!!!
First we had to peel and cut the apples. Next we had to rinse the apples in cold water. Then we had to put brown sugar over the apples. After that I had to put the pot of apples on the stove until it dissolved.
When the pot of apples have dissolved you mix it around with a big spoon. When you finish that you pour the apples into a dish. Then you sprinkle the crumble over the apples so you can't see the apple showing. When you have finished that you put it in a oven for roughly 30 to 40 minutes.
Once you finished that you poke a knife in the middle of the crumble and if it comes out clean that means it’s finished and then serve it with cream.
